Lady Gaga lets her hair down with Beyoncé

The pop divas are trading tunes (and haircuts) on two forthcoming singles, for a team up that has been labelled 'Gee-yoncé'
Lady Gaga has come up with a novel way to beat internet piracy. Fans – and mad geneticists – willing to shell out $99.98 (£61.25) on the Super Deluxe Pack of Lady Gaga's extended album The Fame Monster, are in for quite a surprise. Along with CDs, paper dolls, 3D glasses and a coffee-table tome, buyers will allegedly receive a lock of her hair.

In other Gaga news, the singer has announced a series of collaborations with Beyoncé, in which the pop stars will trade off on two forthcoming singles, and possibly Lady Gaga's second album.

"I want to do my version of Beyoncé," Lady Gaga told New York's Z100 radio station yesterday. Though she's best known for far-out costumery and sullen posing, Lady Gaga took a different approach for her appearance in an forthcoming Beyoncé video. "[Beyoncé] called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?'" Lady Gaga revealed. "And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video'. I said, 'I want to do you.'"

And so there she is, in a photo leaked to the Perez Hilton blog: Lady Gaga with her hair (or perhaps her wig) down, standing in a Beyoncé-style white leotard. "The whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé," Gaga said.

That clip – for Beyoncé's Video Phone single – isn't the only team-up on the cards. The Crazy in Love singer guests on Telephone, a track from the forthcoming expanded edition of Lady Gaga's debut album. Telephone was produced by Darkchild and is reportedly a future single.

That's not all, though. Lady Gaga has suggested that she and Beyoncé may evencollaborate on songs that don't have the word "phone" in their titles.

On November 16, Lady Gaga guest stars on Gossip Girl in an episode titled "The Last Days of Disco Stick." A shot of Gaga on set reveals she wears nipple pasties outside her outfit, which includes a miraculously opaque bra. Apparently, the plot involves Blair getting Gaga to put on a private show. Leighton Meester describes Gaga's appearance as "very avant-garde and kind of gothic." Though we can't see the bottom of her outfit in this picture, People reports that Gaga wears a "30 ft.-long stage dress" — a fantastic way to make up for all those bottoms she hasn't been wearing all these months. She also performs "Bad Romance," which might be how some would describe her nipple-pastie-and-top combo.

Lady Gaga reveals Monster Ball tour dates, 'Fame Monster' track listing

American pop singer Lady Gaga revealed the track listing of The Fame Monster, a deluxe version of her 2008 début album due November 24, as well as the exact dates to her upcoming Monster Ball tour via her official website.

Eight new songs will be added to The Fame's original track listing, including the upcoming lead single "Bad Romance." Grammy-winning American record producers Teddy Riley and Rodney Jerkins have contributed songs to The Fame Monster, along with the original The Fame's Moroccan-Swedish producer RedOne. Lady Gaga launches her North American tour, The Monster Ball, from Montréal, Quebec, at The Bell Center on November 27.

The official track listing of new songs on The Fame Monster is as follows:

Madonna has said she likes emerging pop diva Lady GaGa because she has the 'it factor' despite her fledgling skills, reported entertainment media on Friday.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Madonna said: 'When I saw her, she didn't have a lot of money for her production.

'She had holes in her fishnets, and there were mistakes everywhere. It was kind of a mess, but I can see that she has that 'IT Factor'. It's nice to see that at a raw stage.'

'I see myself in Lady GaGa,' Madonna added.

Lady Gaga took the music scene by storm with her debut album 'The Fame.' Now she's gearing up to release her second album 'The Fame Monster' and the expectations are set high! As we wait for the release, Lady Gaga has revealed the artwork which is getting many people even more excited for 'The Fame Monster.'

With Gaga's unique and over the top style, does the artwork live up to her name? The first of two pictures has Lady Gaga as a blonde. She's sporting a very sharp, short haircut and a shiny jacket which covers all but her eyes. The picture leaves us trying to understand the expression of her eyes. The second of the pictures has Gaga in a darker, more natural hair color. Her long hair is stringy and placed effortlessly. Her hair covers one of her eyes. The other eye is covered in thick eyeliner which is dripping down Gaga's face. With another close up of Lady Gaga's face, her expression leaves much to interpret. Is this a picture of Gaga's crying causing her make-up to run, or something more?

Compared to the vibrant colors and recent costumes Lady Gaga has been wearing, the pictures are quite simple in black and white and without much fuss and feathers.
